Helluuuu loveliessss ~

So Sydney was amazing and expensive >_<
took a short trip out , my first flight since covid ... and damn i was lucky to be blessed w fun travel buddies and the weather has been nice too. So following will just be a quick breakdown of my trip and the rough expenses incurred. No one asked for it but i shall just talk abt it still heh.

Flight : scoot with 25kg checked in luggage was about $700++ per pax
Airbnb : studio loft at Chippendale , which was in the city area and between many amazing cafes was about $1650++ for 2 pax.
Attraction : Klook, Sydney Tower Eye and Wildlife Zoo was $58 per pax
Food : avg per meals was about $30 ++

The prices are mostly inclusive of GST, but I went during Easter and the PH surcharge was 15% ... x_x
But yay free transport !! We managed to visit Blue Mountain and the famous Bondi Beach and many other places.

Blue Mountain is abt a 2 hr train ride away from the city. The nearest train station is Katoomba Station and you got to take a 5min bus from there to see the Three Sisters. Unfortunately the trails were closed due to the landslides and we were unable to hike. But we still managed to walk around and visit the Scenic World. There is like a tram ride for visitors too but it was costly... Definitely will go back when the trails are open again .

The view at Sydney Tower was to die for, it was spectacular, although most of the iconic sites were blocked by tall building.. we still got a bird eye view of Sydney.

Bondi Beach was amazing and gorgeous, the sand and sea and the guys hehehehehe. I've been avoiding the sun for my entire life but all i really wanted to do was soak in some vitamin D from the sun that day. The weather was to die for and the sound of waves crashing were just <33333

We took a coast to coast walk, from Bondi to Clovelly. It was a long walk but the view made it all worth it.  Definitely was the highlight of my trip !!

Glebe Market is open every Saturday. They are open from 10am till 4pm. Many nice apparels and food and music at the market and the crowd is packed . Worth the squeezing around and not to mention there is like a street of cafes just opposite the market too and bookstores too. It's within walking distance not far from Broadway Sydney

Address: 16 Eveleigh St, Redfern NSW 2016, Australia
Henry Lee's cafe at RedFern is freaking delicious although slightly costly but worth every money!! It's one of my favourite cafe from this trip. I got their Prince of Brighton and bella got their Kewpie Doll. The cafe's vibe is really suitable for everyone including family and I think they are pets friendly too (?)

Address :96 Abercrombie Street, Chippendale, NSW
Zenius Coffee cafe at Chippendale was more affordable and they serve amazing food too! Not to mention their baristas capability of serving you cute latte art !! Really love the food and vibe here too!! We got their sandwiches and Haloumi Brioche.

Overall, Sydney way really expensive although the rates are almost 1 to 1... But it was worth the money and definitely will go back again but probably another suburb this time.

We did visit more places like the Sydney Fish Market , Luna park, The Rock, Birkenhead Point, Westfield, Sydney Opera House and QVB etc but I shall just put up some photos for that hehe . Just some random Sydney photo dump for my memories <3333

Clearing custom was easy and all we needed was to show our vaccination cert and a negative ART result . Also upon entering Australia, we will need to fill up a DPD declaration form which you can easily google about.

And getting Tax refunds in Australia, you gotta go to the airport like at least an hr earlier before you check in your luggage. There is some tax refund counter you have to go and get the goods verified and then the receipt will be stamped. Afterwards, you may proceed to check your baggage in and enter the departure hall. Inside there, you will find a tax refund counter where you can reimburse the taxes. Probably not as detailed and useful because i did not managed to get my tax refund . There wasnt many articles about how to get it done hence i thought i might just share some tips here. hehehe, hopefully someone finds it useful or can comment on how to get it done easier.

Thank you Sydney for the amazing memories and a well deserved break. And now to begin another chapter of my life soon .

Lovex,

Kitx <3
